Slúži na lepenie predmetov ako čistá a praktická náhrada vŕtania a používania hmoždiniek a klincov. Lepidlo je dostupné v kartušiach pre štandardnú aplikačnú pištoľ aj v obaloch s vlastnou spúšťou. V prípade montážnych lepidiel neodporúčame lisovanie pomocou prípravkov alebo nástrojov, v tomto prípade stačí pritlačenie.

N Nasiakavý materiál - Nozzle

Nasiakavý materiál

Tieto materiály majú schopnosť nasávať vodu, rozpúšťadlá a pod. Sú to napríklad drevo, papier a ďalšie materiály. Niektoré lepidlá (napr. akrylátové) vyžadujú na  správne vytvrdnutie, aby boli lepené povrchy nasiakavé.

Nenasiakavý materiál

Tieto materiály nemajú schopnosť nasiaknuť vodu, rozpúšťadlá a pod. Sú to napr. kovy, plasty a ďalšie materiály. Pri lepení dvoch nenasiakavých povrchov je nutné použiť chemicky vytvrdzujúce lepidlo.

T Tack - Trimmings

Tack

Properties of immediate support of a glue or a sealant. The glued object is instantly maintained on a surface (even vertical) but it hasn't got all the adhesive properties of glue. It is important to wait until it is dry, according to the guidelines, before subjecting the object to any pressure.

Tackifier

Gives instant adhesion. This adhesion is nevertheless not definitive and a defined drying period is neccessary before subjecting the glued object to any pressure. This drying time lapse is indicated on the product.

Tacky dry

Application and drying time before sticking of a layer of adhesive on a surface

Teflon

Also called polyetrafluorethylene or PTFE. Polymer with a high resistance  to chemical products and heat, can also be found in non adhesive coatings.

Teflón

Druh plastu vysoko odolný proti chemikáliám a oxidácii. Je mimoriadne odolný proti vysokým teplotám, a to až do +250 °C a má nepriľnavý povrch. Kvôli tomu je ho nemožné lepiť bežnými lepidlami. Používa sa na nástroje a náradie vystavené silnému chemickému zaťaženiu, kuchynské potreby a pod.

Tesniaci tmel

Materiál používaný na utesňovanie medzier medzi dvoma materiálmi, proti prestupu vody, na tlmenie vzájomných pohybov častí, lepenie a pod. Tmely sú elastickejšie ako montážne lepidlá.
